2) Short description:
	British Columbia commercial forest; includes listing of licences and companies that operate within the polygons (Forest License Chart areas), as well as forest districts. This data is still in draft form (see #6 below). Tenures/concession polygons will contain areas retricted to logging and other resources extraction activities and by protected areas legislation and by other legislative and policy restrictions. We attempted to include only crown lands and exclude all private lands where the data was available, but some jursiductions may have inadvertently included private lands.

	Lic_1 & Lic_2: Licence number associated with tenure area, lic_1 ties to holder1, lic_2 ties to holder2
	Holder1-4: Company name associated with tenure areas
	District_code: 3 letter code forest district code
	District_n: Forest district that the tenure area occupies
	Format: Format original file was delivered, CAD, ArcInfo or GIS.
	Date_mdy: Date original file was created or received.
	Data-frm: Original data provider

	This data set is being organized and compiled by Sierra Club of Canada, with the agreement and contributions of Forest Ethics, Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, and Forest Watch BC. It is still in draft form.
