We attempted to include only crown lands and exclude all private lands where the data was available, but some jursiductions may have inadvertently included private lands.

8) Other Information:
		As the map shows there are clear boundaries that define the management area under Licence to each company. Licensees develop management plans for this area that meet non-timber objectives and forecast a sustainable harvest level. At that point it is then at the Minister's discretion to decide the volume assigned to each Licensee and each of the 80 (approx) Sub-Licensees that derive wood supply from Crown land. So while the total area is fixed, because of the introduction of non-timber objectives (including Protected Areas), the area dedicated to full timber production is reduced and thus the sustainable harvest levels is reduced.
